Tri-Sliding Garden Room Case Study 5207

Read how we helped one customer make the most of their delightful garden with a year round, contemporary garden room with tri-fold doors.

The project - a contemporary garden room
The client approached us looking for a room in which they could enjoy their garden, but was more substantial than a conservatory - a room which was warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

After discussion, the client decided on our tri-sliding executive Garden Room with our 10 year pack.

The work - designing a versatile, contemporary garden room
We designed a spacious 6m x 3.3m contemporary garden room that sits nicely within our clients' delightful garden.

Our interior desginer also ensured that the inside was just as stunning. The year round garden room includes a breakfast bar area with table and chairs and, on the other side of the room, a large corner sofa on which to sit, relax and enjoy the garden views.

The room also contains a small cupboard with louvre doors, offering storage where everything can be neatly tucked away.

Tri-sliding doors colour matched to the building

We colour matched the aluminium Tri-Sliding doors to the garden room's external painted cladding in Sadolin Superdec '7004' .

The customer chose the Tri-sliding option as they can be opened either to the left or to the right, depending on your mood. They also allow for optimum chance to catch the sun (or get shade) as the sun moves around the garden during the day.

They're also the perfect choice to allow for maximum and versatile usable space within the room, as they don't have the gather of the doors you get with Bi-fold.

All the glass was upgraded to LowE, Planitherm, Argon warm edge, bioclean Natura glass; again helping to keep the warmth inside in the winter and helping to keep the room cool in the summer.

Upgrading to an EPDM roof means that there is maximum head room inside because there is no need to have the usual roof angle for rain run off which is necessary with a felt or felt tiled roof.

The customer also chose to upgrade to Medite Tricoya Extreme (MTX) cladding and trim pack, giving the lowest maintenance option. This, together with the EPDM roof and aluminium doors, ensures that the room is covered by our 10 year warrantee.

The building also features an insulated floor, Laminated in 'Florence', and MDF painted internals upgraded to V-Groove in 'Timeless'. It's also fully lined, insulated and double glazed for the year round use the customer required.
