SHIFT Awards 2016 | London

SHIFT Awards 2016

An awards event like no other!

The SHIFT Awards are the sustainability awards for the housing sector recognising outstanding sustainability projects and achievements in the housing sector.

Sustainability has had a shot in the arm with COP21.  Now is the time to lead and help make the agreement a reality - this is your opportunity to be involved.

The SHIFT Awards is a unique interactive event recognising and celebrating the achievements made in improving the environment and quality of life of residents. Across 9 categories an authoritative judging panel will acknowledge organisations leading in sustainable housing that demonstrate best practice, explore opportunities for savings and increased efficiencies whilst delivering outstanding sustainability outcomes.

The SHIFT Awards are also about industry engagement and the event will include a "dragons’ den" style section fostering discussion on future policies and research opportunities where two special categories will be pitched to the audience and voted at the event.

At this prestigious sector event, SHIFT landlords will also be recognised through the 'Best in Class' categories and will be awarded their 2016 SHIFT accreditation.

Now in its eighth year, the SHIFT Awards are bigger and broader than ever, recognising not only the achievements of SHIFT accredited landlords but a housing sector leading in energy efficiency, operating lean and sustainable businesses and delivering affordable homes. The SHIFT Awards are open to all organisations in the housing sector, including housing associations, private landlords, developers, contractors, suppliers, consultants and others.

Joining us on the judging panel are:

David Orr
Chief Executive | National Housing federation
Andrew Eagles
Chief Executive Officer | Brick Development Association
Claire Curtis-Thomas
 Chief Executive | BBA
Sally Hancox, MBE
Social Housing Expert

This is an opportunity to celebrate success in housing and a platform where those energised and invested in a resilient sector can demonstrate their efforts in sustainability and share knowledge and best practice.

Join us and our compère Marcus Brigstocke for an exceptional afternoon of excellence and networking on 24th November at the stunning Gibson Hall in London. You absolutely have to be there.

We are excited to work with sponsors for this event. If you are interested in sponsoring the event or a specific category see the available sponsorship opportunities here or get in touch.
